Color sorting is a fun activity for you and your toddler. It will also make your little one busy and learn at the same time.
One of the activities that I had with my 2 year old daughter is the Color Sorting. At 1 year old, she can already identify colors. And it seems so easy for her as I watch her sort out the different things and toys that I have laid on the table.
She can also identify the shapes and letters of the ones she had sorted out. And I am so happy and proud of her learning achievements. I guess all moms would be, right? ;)

Sorting colors or shapes can help our child/children develop their thinking skills and most importantly it teaches them to organize things which they can apply in their life later on; like organizing his/her toys, clothes, and other things. :) It's a fun activity that you can try at home. I wanted to share the color sorting printable that I used but I can't find it anymore. But, I found two free printables which is also good, click the photo below to download it.
The other one can be downloaded here: Sorting Colors by teachingmama.org.
You can also make your own Color Sorting if you want, just like what I did in the first photo that I shared. I got some scratch papers and used the back side of it then I made big circles and colored it into different colors. Then you can let your toddler enjoy while sorting. Have fun! :)
