Prepare a Go Bag for each member of your family at home with first-aid supplies and their medicines if they have maintenance to take. Here are the essentials items to put in your Go-Bag:
- Important documents and cash sealed inside a plastic bag.
- Water and Food that is not perishable and have long expiry dates
- Whistles (one for each family member)
- Flashlight with extra batteries and matches/lighter

After an earthquake, make sure to check your walls for cracks, other signs of structural damage, and electrical wiring issues that might endanger your family, and have them all repaired immediately.
